Account settings
Security
Change your password, enable two-factor authentication, and manage passkeys.
What is it?
Security settings protect your Clankee account.
Open: Settings → Security. You may need to confirm your password before managing sensitive options.
Update password
Fields:
- Current password
- New password
- Confirm password
Password guidance
In production environments, Clankee expects strong passwords (longer length, mixed case, letters, numbers, and symbols, and not a known compromised password).
Two-factor authentication (2FA)
Enable an authenticator app. When logging in after 2FA is on, enter an authenticator code or a recovery code on the two-factor challenge screen.
Passkeys
Register passkeys for passwordless verification on login and confirmation flows. Manage them from Security.
Expected behavior
- Login rate limits apply if you try too many times.
- Password confirmation is required before changing security settings.
Tips
- Store recovery codes somewhere safe when you enable 2FA.
- Add a passkey on a device you use daily.
