Troubleshooting
Login and access
Fix signup, login, password reset, Discord OAuth, and invitation access problems.
Symptoms
- Cannot create an account
- Cannot log in
- Discord OAuth fails or loops
- Password reset email missing
- Invitation will not accept
Registration is disabled
If you see that registration is currently disabled, public signup is turned off.
- Join the waitlist from the marketing site or the dialog when Continue with Discord on register opens waitlist.
- Use an invite code if you have one to unlock registration.
- Waitlist applies to email/password and Discord register equally.
Cannot log in with email
- Confirm you are using the correct email.
- Reset your password from Forgot password?
- If 2FA is enabled, use a current authenticator code or a recovery code.
- Wait a minute if you hit rate limits from too many attempts.
- Try a passkey if you registered one.
Discord login problems
| Symptom | Fix |

| OAuth error or redirect loop | Start again from https://clankee.ai/login. Use the same browser session. |
| Wrong Discord account | Sign out of Discord in the browser, or unlink and reconnect under Linked accounts. |
| No Clankee account for this Discord | Register at https://clankee.ai/register with Continue with Discord, or link Discord after email signup. |
| Register opens waitlist | Registration is closed. Join the waitlist or use an invite code. |
Discord login is for your Clankee account. Connecting a Discord workspace for the bot is a separate step. See Connect Discord.
Password reset issues
- Reset links expire after 60 minutes. Request a new one.
- Requests are throttled; wait before retrying.
- Check spam/junk folders.
Invitation will not accept
| Cause | Fix |
|---|---|
| Wrong account email | Sign in with the invited email, or ask for a new invite. |
| Invite expired (3 days) | Ask an Owner/Admin to send a new invitation. |
| Already a member | Skip accept; switch to the team and ask to be added to projects. |
| Duplicate pending invite | Ask an admin to cancel and resend. |
