Install and manage skills
What is it?
The Skills page lets you browse what is available, install skills onto the project, and turn them on or off. Installed skills apply when Clankee chats in Discord and when it runs tasks.
How to open Skills
In a project, open Skills in the sidebar.
You will see two tabs:

Filter and search
On Available:
- Switch between Platform and Project skills.
- Use search to find a skill by name.
On Installed:
- Filter by Enabled or Disabled status.
- Search by name.
Install a skill
- Open Skills → Available.
- Find the skill (for example Search first or Linear).
- Choose Install.
The skill appears under Installed. New installs start enabled when required integrations are already connected.
Enable or disable
- Open Skills → Installed.
- Use the toggle on a skill row to enable or disable it.
Disabled skills stay installed but do not apply in chat or tasks.
Uninstall
- Open Skills → Installed.
- Choose Uninstall on the skill.
This removes the skill from the project. You can install it again from Available later.
Missing integration warnings
Some skills require integrations (for example Linear needs Linear connected). If integrations are missing:
- You see a warning like Connect Linear before enabling this skill.
- You cannot enable the skill until the app is connected.
Fix it under Integrations → connect the app → return to Skills and enable the skill.
Permissions
Install, enable, disable, and uninstall require project update permission (project Owner or Admin). Any project member can view the catalog and installed list.
