Connect an integration
What is it?
Connecting an integration authorizes Clankee to use a specific account in a third-party app for this project.
How to connect
Open Integrations
Project sidebar → Integrations. Optionally search for the app.
Choose the integration
Click the card. If none are connected yet, you will see Click to connect.
Choose connection purpose (Linear)
For Linear, pick Agent tools or Automations before naming the account. Linear needs separate OAuth grants: agents connect as the app bot; automations connect as your user account because trigger setup needs admin-level access. Automations mostly listen for events and rarely write or access sensitive data. Use the info icon in the dialog for a short explanation, or read Linear connections.
Name the account
In Connect {name}, enter an Integration name (placeholder example: “Marketing spreadsheets”).
Authorize
Choose Connect, complete the provider authorization, and return to Clankee.
Expected behavior
- Success toast: “Integration connected.”
- You can open the integration to manage accounts and tools.

Tips
- Use clear account names when you connect more than one account for the same app.
