Knowledge base

Add notes and review found knowledge that Clankee and your team can use.

What is it?

The knowledge base stores context your AI and team can use. Entries are either:

  • Note: something you add manually
  • Found knowledge: something discovery pulled from connected tools

Capture definitions, processes, and facts Clankee should not have to guess — and review what discovery pulled from your stack.

How to open it

From the project dashboard, open Knowledge base, or open it from project navigation/settings links.

Search and filters

ControlBehavior
Search entries...Finds entries by text
Filter by typeNote or Found knowledge
The default list hides Found knowledge. Use the type filter to show it.

Permissions

Any project member can work with knowledge base entries. Opening Brain still requires project update permission.

Expected behavior

  • Manual adds are Notes.
  • Discovery results appear as Found knowledge.
  • Content is available for Clankee to use when answering and running tasks.

Limitations

  • Found knowledge is easy to miss if you never change the type filter.
  • Brain visualization is separate from editing knowledge entries.

Tips

  • Write short, specific notes (definitions, “how we do X”, client rules).
  • After connecting tools, run Discover so Found knowledge can fill gaps.
