Schedules

Run tasks once or on a recurring schedule.

What is it?

A schedule tells Clankee when to run a task automatically.

How to add or edit a schedule

  • While creating a task, check Schedule this task.
  • On an existing task, choose Add schedule or Edit schedule, then Save schedule.

Frequencies

  • Every N minutes
  • Every N hours
  • Daily at time
  • Weekdays at time
  • Weekly on selected days
  • Monthly on day

Timezone

Clankee uses your browser timezone when saving a schedule. There is no separate timezone field in the UI.

Schedule actions

PauseKeeps the schedule but stops automatic runs (“Paused - …”)
ResumeContinues automatic runs
Cancel scheduleConfirm: “Cancel this schedule? The task will remain but will not run automatically.”

Examples you may see:

  • “Not scheduled.”
  • “Once at …”
  • “Every N minutes/hours”
  • “Daily at …”
  • “Weekdays at …”
  • “Weekly at …”
  • “Monthly on day X at …”
  • “Next: in Xm|h|d”

Validation errors you might see

  • A run time is required…
  • A frequency is required…
  • Interval must be between 1 and {max}.
  • A time of day is required…
  • Select at least one day of the week.
  • A day of the month is required.

Tips

  • Start with Run once to test, then switch to recurring.
  • Pair schedules with workspace notifications so the channel sees results.
