Create your account
What is it?
Your Clankee account is how you access teams, projects, and settings. Sign in with email and password, Continue with Discord, or (after setup) a passkey or two-factor authentication.
Everything else in Clankee starts from an account: creating a team, connecting tools, talking in Discord.
How to create an account
Open registration
Go to https://clankee.ai/register or choose Create account from Login.
Enter your details
Provide your Name, Email, Password, and password confirmation, then choose Create account.
Or choose Continue with Discord to register with Discord OAuth.
Continue to onboarding
After signup, Clankee creates a personal team for you and starts onboarding.
If registration is disabled
Sometimes public registration is turned off. In that case:
- Email/password registration shows that registration is currently disabled.
- Continue with Discord on the register page opens the waitlist dialog instead of OAuth.
Join the waitlist from the marketing site or the dialog. If you have an invite code, use it to unlock registration (including Discord signup).
How to log in
- Open https://clankee.ai/login.
- Choose Continue with Discord, or enter Email and Password.
- Optionally check Remember me.
- Choose Log in.
If you set up a passkey, you can verify with your passkey instead of typing your password each time.
Link Discord after email signup under Linked accounts.
How to reset your password
- On Login, choose Forgot password?
- Enter your email and choose Email password reset link.
- Open the link from your email (links expire after 60 minutes).
- Set a new password and confirm it.
Requirements
- A valid email address (for email/password signup)
- A password that meets Clankee's password rules (in production environments, expect a strong password: longer length, mixed case, letters, numbers, and symbols)
Permissions
Anyone with registration access can create an account. Existing users can log in, reset passwords, and manage their own profile and security settings.
Expected behavior
- Signup creates your personal team automatically (you are the Owner).
- After login, unfinished onboarding redirects you through the setup steps until complete.
- Email verification screens may appear depending on your account state. Follow the prompts if asked to verify.
Limitations
- Continue with Discord is available for login and register. Google, GitHub, and Slack are not offered for Clankee account login.
- Registration may be closed in favor of a waitlist (applies to email and Discord register).
- Discord workspace connection for the bot is separate from Discord login. See Connect Discord.
Tips
- Use the same email you expect teammates to invite.
- Turn on two-factor authentication after you finish onboarding.
- Link Discord under Settings → Linked accounts if you want Discord login on an email account.
